Well I am delivering the Alabama order after work today and having it here at work I was showing it off. One of the men I work with is a huge Alabama fan and paid me on the spot to make him a set as well. Not bad for a day's work. I texted my hubby and told him that I got another order and the guy paid me up front and his response was "Good for you. See I told you your crafts were the way to go." I am feeling very positive about this business. I do miss direct sales though. I miss not having to worry about having to keep inventory but at the same time I like not having to send all or most of the money I get from orders to someone else.
Income tax will be in here in a couple of days and I will get my sewing machine to start making new creations. I have decided to start looking into making coffee sleeves, monsters, owls and such. I am coming up with little names for them. I will release those names when I get a few made and start the sell them.
I also have an order that I am waiting on payment for of a mini block calendar of Mary Kay for a friend. Things are looking up and looks like if things keep progressing like this then I will be able to reach my goal by December 31, 2014.
I am starting to look into a monthly newsletter to issue to update people on new items coming out and contests. I love that I can do pretty much whatever I want with my business and don't have to deal with anyone else's guidelines. Stay posted.
